Ribbon Blender Mixer

Ribbon Blender

Ribbon Blender

The Ribbon Blender is an efficient and versatile blending machine for mixing of dry powders, granules and viscous pastes homogeneously. It is able to give perfect result for mixing due to the innovative design of spiral agitator inside of its U-shape chamber.

Abster™ designs our Ribbon Blender which is able to achieve a maximum mixture ratio of 1:500,000, which means you can get the desired mixture proportion of components in as small as 1 gram with a batch of 500kg.

Due to its less aggressive mixing, Ribbon Blenders ask for relatively lower power consumption compared with Plow Mixers.

Ribbon Blender are the backbone of Mixing industry. They are the most popular mixing instrument partly because their initial purchase cost, maintenance, and production costs per pound of product produced is quite low compared to other types of industrial blenders. They can be used to blend almost anything such as pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, and food products of all kinds, fertilizer, stucco, clay, potting soils, paint, plastics, chemicals, and many other items. Ribbon blenders come in two distinct styles: one is a center bottom discharge which is by far the most popular and the most efficient. The second is an end discharge for when a customer needs to discharge the product at the end of the machine rather than in the center. All ribbon blenders have a counter current flow pattern inside the blending chamber which keeps the batch of materials being blended at a uniform height in the blender during the operation. Well-designed ribbon blenders are fairly fast to blend and easy to load and unload. Please note that the blending performance of a ribbon mixer can vary widely from manufacturer to manufacturer.

Ribbon Blender

Abster Equipment manufactures a line of ribbon blender selections which run from a 5 cu ft blender up to a 500 cu ft. version. Horsepower’s can run up to 150 HP, and each machine is sized and constructed depending on the bulk density and special features of the customer’s product. This ensures that customers get the performance they need for the products they produce. Our designs focus on high levels of sanitation and safety, while requiring only low levels of maintenance.
